Telecommunication providers don't have to advertise/state that unencrypted HD stations exist. And since it is not in their interest they don't. There is no official list and unencrypted stations might be added or removed anytime. Only local stations have to be made available by law. So here a preliminary incomplete channel listing for TW Cable including unencrypted QAM stations available in HD for the Hermosa Beach area.

Wait until dark

The Hermosa Beach Playhouse performed a new play called "Wait until dark". The play was first performed in 1966 on Broadway and a famous film adaptation starring Audrey Hepburn came out in 1967.

Wikipedia describes the plot as follows: "The mystery thriller's heroine is Susy Hendrix, a blind Greenwich Village housewife who becomes the target of three thugs searching for the heroin hidden in a doll, which her husband transported from Canada as a favor to a woman who since has been murdered. The trio tries to convince Susy her spouse has been implicated in the crime and the only way to protect him is to surrender the doll. More murder and mayhem ensue when she refuses, with the stage lights turned off for the final scene when Suzy levels the playing field by plunging her apartment into total darkness."

Newsflash

According to the Hermosa Beach Police we had multiple vehicle burglaries over the last few days east of PCH.  Several are most likely from residents failing to lock their cars. The residents and visitors are advised to take valuable items (Computers, IPOD's, GPS devices, jewelry, etc.) out of their vehicles and remember to LOCK them.
